Primal Jealousy by Eric Culver

Primal Jealousy by Eric Culver

I will choke you 'til your heart is cold,
because you feel not my anguished pain.
I will wrap you in my noxious hold,
and tighten 'til you're naught but bone and grain.

Since happiness is not my destiny,
for poison does provoke not love but fear.
This truth leads me to harbor jealousy:
that you all wait for toxic air to clear.

I spread my hurt around, a poison cloud.
My acid breath exudes on friend and foe.
A single bite will paralyze a crowd,
and thousands drop beneath my lethal blow.

For love I can't and so I only hate,
and therefore speed you to your final fate.
